McFlurry can be a delicious dessert for us, humans. For dogs, the situation is different.

Market or fast-food ice cream is generally hazardous to dogs since it contains sugar and other preservatives that dogs should not consume.

Despite the fact that a recent study found that McDonald's ice cream does not contain xylitol, McFlury is not a healthy option for your dog. Let's find out why!

Can dogs eat McFlurry?

The answer is no. McFlurry shouldn't be consumed by dogs. Depending on how sensitive your dog is, eating McFlurry may induce stomach pain or worse. Ice cream can cause gas, bloating, constipation, diarrhea, and vomiting in your furry friend.

As you can see there are many 🚫 symbols, meaning that McFlurry can be toxic to dogs because of the sugar, sodium, fats, artificial flavors, cocoa, nuts, and other ingredients that are not allowed to dogs.

Of course, your dog will be alright if he only tastes a little, but make sure this does not become a habit.

Is it true that xylitol isn't really added to McDonald's ice cream?

Yes, McDonald's USA responded through email to Reuters that the assertion is inaccurate and that its soft serve, which is available in cones and other desserts, does not contain Xylitol.

What happens if my dog ate McFlurry and he/she feels bad?

If your dog ate more McFlurry than it should and is showing symptoms such as vomiting, gas, lethargy, bloating, constipation, or diarrhea, please take him/her to the vet as soon as possible.
